Backwashing

Backwashing is the process of cleaning your pool filter

Kelly Farm Pool has 2 pool filters. One for the main pool and another for the wader pool. The large rust colored one is for the main pool and the smaller white one that is located under the stairs to the pump room is for the wader pool

Filters need to be cleaned periodically. There are specific meter readings that you need to look for to identify if the filter needs to be backwashed or not. The next article will walk though how to backwas the main pool filter.
